Doctor Strange, Skylanders, Super Mario and 5-Minute Dungeon

More Toys

So many things going on today. I went and took a bunch of things out of my closet so that I can find a few things for a new YouTube project. I’m going to be working with my friend Brian on a new channel called SteamDads. You can visit it through http://www.steamdads.com/. I had to go and get a lab coat, get the logo embroidered on it and more.

While I was out and about I found some Doctor Strange Pops including the Ancient One Pop that I didn’t pick up in California. The one I really should have because Tilda Swinton would have been so delighted to see it. You can read about that in my interview with her at Interviewing Tilda Swinton and Why I Should have Bought “The Ancient One” Pop!

I also found a Legendary Magic Creation Crystal at Toys R Us. I also did a lot with Skylanders Imaginators recently like loaded in all of my previous figures, magic items and traps.

I also found the last of the Hot Wheels Super Mario Character cars at Toys R Us. The last one I was looking for was Yoshi. I now have a complete set.

Speaking of character Cars I opened some Star Wars ones, too. A Jawa, a Storm Trooper and a Death Trooper.

And I wanted to tell you about the launch of the Kickstarter Campaign for 5-Minute Dungeon and it is fully funded. My review of the game is also on that Kickstarter.

Happy Halloween 2016

Eva and Andrew in their Halloween Costumes
Photo-A-Day #4220

We did something different for our Halloween this year. We went over to our friend’s house and went trick or treating around their neighborhood. It was so busy. That was a far cry from our neighborhood where we get maybe 40 people in the night. The kids had a great time with their friends and came home with huge buckets of candy. It reminded me of Halloween when I was a kid. I’d collect a ton of candy from all over the place. Their neighborhood was such a nice neighborhood. We left a bowl on the porch with a note to just take one. It was empty when we returned. Pretty sure it was hit the moment we got into the house. Glad we only put out half of what we had.

Andrew was excited about Halloween all day. He decided to ditch the Iron Man costume for the Skylanders Wallop Costume that we received to review. He really liked that costume. Eva, of course, is all about Harry Potter and loves her Hermione costume so much. She has been talking non stop about it and was delighted with each person who recognized her as Hermione. They both thought that my costume was a riot. I combined my Sriracha Bottle Costume with my Optimus Prime Helmet and went as “Srirachamus Prime”. Observe.

I am Srirachamis Prime. #Halloween #Transformers

Andrew and I played Skylanders after school today. We played with the Sensei Candy Coated Chopscotch as well as standard Chopscotch and we made an Undead Imaginator with a Creation Crystal. The standard Chopscotch and the Undead Creation Crystal were given to me by Activision. I bought Candy Coated Chopscotch myself on release day. Here is my video about those toys.
