Yes, those happy singing Trolls do love to hug, well maybe not Branch, but most of the other ones do. A new Trolls adventure has just begun on Netflix with Trolls: The Beat Goes On! The new series just premiered on Friday with six episodes. It picks up where the movie left off. The kids and I began watching it and it is funny. There are many original songs and lots of jokes. Time for all-new stories and music featuring everyone’s favorite TROLLS! Picking up where the cheerful, glitter-filled hit movie DreamWorks Trolls left off, the Netflix original series DreamWorks Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, brings back Poppy, Branch, King Peppy, Smidge and the rest of the film’s beloved characters for more whimsical, musical adventures as they go about day-to-day life in Troll Village.

With original songs in each half-hour episode and immersive hand-drawn 2D animation, Trolls: The Beat Goes On! offers a unique musical and visual treat for all ages. The series features compositions by acclaimed songwriter and producer Alana Da Fonseca (the Pitch Perfect films, Alvin and the Chipmunks) as well as the voice talents of Amanda Leighton, Skylar Astin, Ron Funches, Gary Cole, David Koechner, and others.

Trolls: The Beat Goes On! comes from DreamWorks Animation Television. All six episodes of the animated series’ first season are available on Netflix TODAY!

Right before we headed to Great Wolf Lodge for three days I received a fun package from DreamWorks in advance of the upcoming series, Trolls: The Beat Goes On! which premieres on January 19th on Netflix. The kids adore Trolls and we have watched the movie a dozen or so times and then the holiday special was on heavy rotation during the holiday season, too. Now they are more excited than ever because this new show is going to be something that they are going to watch often. I’m pretty sure that Andrew will be quoting the show over and over again.

The activity kit that we were sent is really cute they had some activities like creating Trolls Hair, making Trolls garland and also a scrapbook. The kids love working on crafts. It gave Eva lots of ideas and she took the extra materials for her own future crafts. I am sure some will be Trolls inspired.

Our activity box also contained some fun Trolls toys from Hasbro. Andrew immediately wanted to open the Blind Bag. He loves doing Blind Bag openings. The rest of the toys were also nice. They have fun hairplay aspects to them. The kids enjoy that. Andrew loves the hair, he enjoyed the Trolls hair that was included and I liked wearing, like this photo.
