Today is the 1000th consecutive day that I have taken and posted a photo to my blog. You can go all the way back to Day one on April 9, 2005 when I started this strange journey of discovery. I owe a huge debt of thanks to Christopher Williams for the idea. It was because of his 2002 Photo-A-Day project that mine was born. I also owe a huge debt of thanks to all of my friends and family who didn’t know exactly what they were getting themselves into when I started this project. They have been subjected to and subjects of my camera in their face for such a long time.
I learned about another great new Web dohickey tonight. This time the site comes to me from La Bell Saison. Princesse Ecossaise writes this hilarious blog and she put up a Voice Thread, I had to go sign up and make my own.
I will try and do one a week with a recap of the photos for the week. That might be a fun weekly wrap up. I can’t wait to see what sort of responses come in from these. It is totally free to sign up. Check out Voice Thread to make your own.
There are some very cool controls in this program including the ability to draw on the images and point out things, you can even zoom in, add links and titles and many other things.
