A Second Christmas 2015

Eva and Andrew

Our second Christmas was at Allison’s grandparent’s house. We went there to celebrate with her brother and sister-in-law, their kids and Allison’s cousins and their kids. It was a full house and the kids had so much fun playing with each other. My nephew had a football and clearly he loved it very much because he carried it all over the house. I started playing catch with him inside, just lightly tossing it around. I could see it was starting to get more active so I went out with all the kids to throw it around. We had a fun time playing.

Allison brought along some more of her cinnamon rolls, fruit salad and more. Allison’s brother made us sausage and pasta for dinner. We were also covered for desserts as Allison made a Swiss chocolate pie. It was a very nice day spent with family. We enjoyed our time with everyone.

Star Wars Christmas

Christmas has returned and at our house Santa was very good to us. For Andrew it was a year of Hot Wheels and Blase and the Monster Machines toys as well as some Playmobil. For Eva it was like a library came and dropped off half their collection. She received a ton of different Star Wars books and she was so excited about that. Santa brought her the original trilogy and then I got a bunch of great books from Disney Publishing about characters like Luke, Han and Leia. There is even a book with stories about Rey, Finn and Poe before The Force Awakens. She also received a book of Everything you need to know about Star Wars. She loves that book.

Christmas morning was at our house. We opened the gifts and had our breakfast on the floor. Allison made homemade cinnamon rolls for our breakfast. We started with our stockings and the kids had some wicked overflowing ones. Santa was barely able to get everything inside. The kids loved what they had inside the stockings. Lots of treats and more. My stocking had some popcorn can popcorn seasonings, prefect for me. Allison also got some tasty treats in her stocking. Continue reading Christmas Day 2015
