On the walls of the offices where I work there is art. There is a lot of art. It ranges from some really bizarre things to some very cool things. Some people vehemently hate some of the art pieces and others love them. Art of course is very subjective. I like what I like but can’t really tell you why I like something. I also dislike what I dislike and that I can tell you. This piece I sort of like because of the colors and lines and how it is partially 3D. So, while looking for something to shoot today I choose this. I was going to post the photo of my co-worker racked out asleep in his chair but he has photos of me asleep so I figure, why start something, but it is a great photo. Photo-A-Day #2100
Today I met one of my top 10 online awesome-est people. I finally met Cali Lewis. After missing out on meeting her during two BlogWorld Expos and after following her podcast for over three years I finally met her. I’m in Las Vegas for a couple of days for the Consumer Electronics Show, Affiliate Summit and then I leave for Detroit for the North American International Auto Show. On my flight here I caught up on my backlog of video podcasts including GeekBeat.tv, Cali’s Show. She usually does tweet ups and so I checked to see if she said anything about doing a TweetUp while she was here. Luckily I caught the tweet showing that she was having a TweetUp at Earl of Sandwich over in Planet Hollywood Casino. Daniel and I headed over.

Photo-A-Day #1923
I was walking around the house and saw these two Black Eyed Susans and for some reason I immediately thought of The Trash Heap from Fraggle Rock. I’m not sure why it came to my mind but it did. The trash heap wears these funky glasses and it looks to me like the un-opened Black Eyed Susans look like the temples of her glasses.
